As it is a working palace and a family home, Lambeth Palace is not open to the public on a daily basis. However, there are a number of ways you can visit:
Our guided tours are given regularly by excellent volunteer guides. You will have the chance to explore the rooms and chapels of Lambeth Palace, and hear about the history of the Archbishops of Canterbury.
Tickets for guided tours are sold on Ticketmaster. Any available tours will be shown here, and new tour dates are added directly to the site.
Fetes and special events
The North Lambeth Parish Fete has been running at Lambeth Palace since Victorian times, raising money for the community. It is a fun family day filled with games, toys, crafts and a variety of food.
The Fete is always on the last Saturday in June. We like to say it never rains on the Fete so please join us in 2018 on Saturday 30th June! Find out more on the North Lambeth Parish website.
Garden open days
The garden is open to the public once a month between April and September. Admission is £5 for adults, kids free, friendly dogs welcome, refreshments and entertainment provided. Gates open 12-3pm. Find out more about our garden open days here.
