Visit Lambeth Palace

Find out about guided tours, open days and special events at Lambeth Palace.
Lambeth Palace exterior

As it is a working palace and a family home, Lambeth Palace is not open to the public on a daily basis.

Guided tours

No tours are scheduled at this time, following Public Health England advice regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Our guided tours are given by excellent volunteer guides. You will have the chance to explore the rooms and chapels of Lambeth Palace, and hear about the history of the Archbishops of Canterbury.

Fetes and special events

The North Lambeth Parish Fete happens annually and raises money for the local community.

This year’s Fete, due to be held on Saturday 27th June, will no longer be happening. This is following advice from Public Health England regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Garden open days

The garden is open to the public once a month across spring and summer. The Open Days are hosted by local charities, with funds raised from entry tickets and refreshments for the charity.

Following Public Health England advice regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have taken the difficult decision not to host Garden Open Days this summer 2020.

We hope that you will be able to join us on a future day in spring 2021.
