Find out about guided tours, open days and special events at Lambeth Palace.
Lambeth Palace exterior

As it is a working palace and a family home, Lambeth Palace is not open to the public on a daily basis.

National Garden Scheme 2021

We will be opening the Palace Gardens on Monday 17th May from 5pm - 8pm, with last entry at 7pm, for visitors to enjoy the spring planting. Funds raised from tickets will be donated to the National Garden Scheme's 2021 charity partners.

We recommend booking tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £6 for adults with free tickets for children. Tickets are available to purchase in advance on the National Garden Scheme website here.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Gardens for this special evening.

Guided tours

No tours are scheduled at this time, following Public Health England advice regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Our guided tours are given by excellent volunteer guides. You will have the chance to explore the rooms and chapels of Lambeth Palace, and hear about the history of the Archbishops of Canterbury.

Garden open days

It is with deep regret that we are unable to host our charity Garden Open Day events at Lambeth Palace due to site maintenance. We will strive to reopen for Garden Open Days as soon as possible.

Please check our regularly updated website for more information.
