Lambeth Palace is the London home of the Archbishop of Canterbury, his family and two religious communities. It is the centre of his ministry, worship and hospitality.

An upcoming refurbishment of the Palace is scheduled to begin in August 2022, with the spaces located in the main Palace closing for these essential works.

Enquire with us if you would be interested in viewing the Palace spaces upon re-opening.

Lambeth Palace Library

Lambeth Palace Library is the historic library of the Archbishops of Canterbury and preserves the national archives of the Church of England. It houses one of the largest collections of manuscripts, books and documents for the Church of England's history. The original library, based in Lambeth Palace, first opened in 1610 to researchers with the state-of-the-art facility on Lambeth Palace Road completed in 2020.

The contemporary building has two impressive event spaces and continues to be available whilst the main Palace undergoes essential works.
