Garden Open Days 2024

Our summer open days are a wonderful opportunity to experience the gardens and support community causes. Funds raised from tickets, refreshments and activities will be donated to charities to support their work. 

  • The gates open at midday, with the open day closing at 3pm. Last entry will be at 2.30pm.
  • Tickets are available on the day. Admission is £5 for adults with free tickets for children and carers. Dogs are welcome.
  • Refreshments will be available to purchase in the garden marquee. 
  • Please be aware that security searches will be in operation. 

Dates this year will be:

Friday 3rd May
Hosted by the Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity. Helping children under 5 years with cerebral palsy and other motor learning impairments make the best possible start in life. 

Friday 7th June
Hosted by the Friends of Lambeth Palace Library. Supporting the Library in the acquisition of rare books and manuscripts and in the conservation of collections for future generations. Tickets may be purchased in advance via Eventbrite here.

Friday 5th July
Hosted by Lambeth Palace in aid of Evelina London Children's Hospital. Caring for children and young people from across south London and south east England. Tickets available for purchase on the day at Morton's Tower and Lambeth Palace Library.

Friday 2nd August
Hosted by Harry's Hat. Making life better for children with hydrocephalus (water on the brain) and the families who love and care for them. Tickets may be purchased in advance via Eventbrite here.

Friday 6th September
Hosted by Lia's Wings. Providing hospital air transfers for children. Ensuring that babies and critically ill children can access specialist treatment and care, wherever they are in the UK. Tickets may be purchased in advance with Lia's Wings here.

A special evening opening supporting the National Garden Scheme will be held on Monday 20th May, further information for this opening can be found on the Visit Lambeth Palace page here.
