The Archbishop has written to Gordon Brown welcoming the launch of the Alliance for Full Employment. 

The Archbishop contributed this afternoon to a debate on the common good at the meeting of the General Synod in York.

In his presidential address to the General Synod today, Archbishop Justin Welby spoke about the beauty of the Anglican Communion when it comes together.

In his second Holy Week lecture at Canterbury Cathedral, Archbishop Justin reflected on the agony of Christ in Gethsemane and how we can follow His example to have faith in and submit to the will of God. 

Writing for the Huffington Post, the Archbishop explains why following Jesus means getting involved in politics to help serve the common good. 

Archbishop Justin called for a spirit of hope, but stressed that widening inequality is the biggest challenge to overcome if UK is to flourish.

Archbishop Justin gave a keynote address at the Royal Society of Arts, the first of a series of keynote addresses by leading public figures in 2024 on their annual theme of ‘Courage’.
