The Archbishop of Canterbury has received the Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order (GCVO) in recognition of his role in the Coronation.
The Royal Victorian Order was personally awarded by the King at an Investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle on Tuesday (14 May).
The Archbishop said, "The Coronation was made possible by the hard work of a huge number of people.
"Amongst many others I was privileged to receive an honour from His Majesty The King at Windsor Castle today. I warmly congratulate the Dean of Westminster on his KCVO, after he and all those at the Abbey made such an enormous contribution.
"The Coronation weekend saw millions of us come together in a spirit of service, reflecting the example set by Jesus Christ, who teaches us not to be served but to serve.
"I continue to pray for The King, Queen Camilla and the whole Royal Family, and thank them for the tireless work they undertake on behalf of our nation."
