Archbishop Justin Welby received a delegation of church leaders from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America at Lambeth Palace today.
The informal talks were held in an atmosphere of warmth and friendship. The period of sharing touched on a number of current church related initiatives. Following the talks the delegation moved to the Chapel for Evening Prayer.
The Presiding Bishop of ELCA, Bishop Elizabeth A. Eaton, could not be present due to cancellation of flights in the USA, but sent a message of greeting to the meeting.
