Bishop Justin Welby's opening statement

On 9 November 2012 the Right Reverend Justin Welby, Bishop of Durham, was announced as the 105th Archbishop of Canterbury. In his opening statement at Lambeth Palace, Bishop Justin said he was "astonished and excited" to be taking over from Dr Rowan Williams, and that it would be a privilege to lead the Church "at a time of great spiritual hunger".
