Journey in Prayer

In the days leading up to his enthronement, the new Archbishop will make a pilgrimage around the Province of Canterbury, inviting as many people as possible to join him on this 'Journey in Prayer'. The Archbishop will visit one city on each day of the journey, and spend that day in prayer.


Enthronement at Canterbury Cathedral

The Archbishop's public ministry will be inaugurated at Canterbury Cathedral on 21st March 2013. The service will be broadcast live on BBC2 starting at 2:30pm.


Canterbury Cathedral - Diocesan Service of Welcome

On Saturday 23 March at 11am, the Diocese of Canterbury will welcome the new Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, at a Diocesan Service of Welcome in Canterbury Cathedral. This service is not ticketed and is open to all.
