BBC Radio 4's The Art of Monarchy - the Coronation Ampulla and Spoon

 In BBC Radio 4's series The Art of Monarchy, Archbishop Rowan Williams speaks to Will Gompertz about the Coronation Anointing Objects, the Ampulla and Spoon.  The programme (episode 3 'Faith' in an 8-part series) will be broadcast at 10:30am on Saturday 25th February.

The Art of Monarchy is a collaboration between BBC Radio 4 and the Royal Collection to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The series and website illuminate the history of the Monarchy through the works of art they have acquired over the past 1000 years.  Will Gompertz speaks to historians, academics and Royal Collection curators who explain how the chosen objects illustrate the subjects examined in the programmes, including faith, progress, war and legacy.
