Archbishop to spend Holy Week in Canterbury

Archbishop Justin will spend the week at Canterbury Cathedral and visiting local churches and communities.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will spend Holy Week at Canterbury Cathedral and visiting local churches and communities, ahead of preaching his Easter sermon at the Cathedral.

Among the highlights of the week, Archbishop Justin Welby will deliver a series of three public lectures at Canterbury Cathedral, and wash feet and celebrate the Eucharist on Maundy Thursday evening.

He will also open a new relatives’ suite at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, visit the Mission Aviation Fellowship, and join families at a special Messy Church service.

The Archbishop will preach his Easter sermon at Canterbury Cathedral on Easter Day.
