Over the years Metropolitan Volodymyr has held significant positions in the Church and was well known as a preacher and teacher. His contributions to theological education through his numerous research papers on theology are well acknowledged.
During this time of sorrow and loss, I send to you and to all the members of the Holy Synod, the clergy and the laity of your church my unreserved commiseration and assure you of my sincere prayers.
May God give you wisdom and strength as you continue your ministry during this period of many challenges and change in Ukraine.
