17.00 - The Archbishop, along with the other Presidents of the Churches Together in England, co-presided at a service at Westminster Abbey to celebrate the centenary of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

26 – 27 January

The Archbishop made a two-day pastoral visit  to the Diocese of Liverpool and will give a lecture titled "Europe, Faith and Culture"  in Liverpool Cathedral on the 26^th. On Sunday 27^th, following a parish visit in the morning, the Archbishop attended the Holocaust Memorial Day event at Liverpool Town Hall, with the Chief Rabbi. The Archbishop also preached at Vespers in Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral to mark the Centenary of the Week of Prayer and Christian Unity. 29 January

17.00 - The Archbishop will give the James Callaghan Memorial Lecture sponsored by the Wiener Library in the House of Lords. Read the Archbishop's lecture - Religious Hatred and Religious Offence.
