Sorrow at Death of Patriarch Teoctist

The Archbishop of Canterbury has written to the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of Romania expressing his deep sorrow at the death of the Patriarch, His Beatitude Teoctist.

The Archbishop will be represented at the funeral in Bucharest by the Bishop of Woolwich, the Rt Rev'd Christopher Chessun, and by his Apokrisarios, the Rev'd Martin Jaques.
